Formed in 2008 Think Turf offer clients full service and installation of synthetic turf for any lawn application to provide a premium lawn all year round.  Check out some of our work below.

Hillsborogh Mount Panorama Mini Putt

​It was with great pleasure that Think Turf became involved with the installation of the mini putt surface and course dressing for this Mount Panorama inspired mini putt course.
A full 18-hole course that starts with the first 9 holes designed around the Mount Panorama, Bathurst car race track. It takes you up the hill and across the top and back down again following the same shape and design of the race track. The inner 9 holes are all inspired by other car racing tracks from around the world.  
This was an amazing project to be involved and we would like to thank Steve for letting us be part of this wonderful resort course.

 SWIS school

As part of an upgrade of their main play zone, South Wgtn Intermediate School elected to replace the existing ground surface.
​Consisting of old rubber mats, bark and asphalt it no longer met current safety standards, so we replaced it with modern technology in play surfaces. New foam/rubber shock pads were installed to give the appropriate fall height protection, then artificial grass was chosen as the top surface. This provided a natural looking all weather surface to play on.

​​Local City Council

As part of a City street make over, we were chosen as the contractor to help beautify the street. Laying artificial grass provided a durable hard wearing surface that was useable as both passive and active areas in a high traffic environment and always looks great !

Wellington Zoo

New artificial grass lawn in the Australian exhibit area. After frustration with no grass and only mud with the natural turf in this exhibit, the decision was made to install our artificial grass. The zoo staff and animal residents are extremely happy with the make over and we believe the results speak for themselves.

​Home of Compassion

This was an intricate job with a tight time frame and again we were given the task of bringing alive inner courtyards with our fantastic turf. The importance of making it safe for fall protection with a rubber underlay and having no trip hazards were critical to its success.

Waterfront Bars & Cafes

With the task of "Giving the place a bit of green", we installed synthetic turf to outdoor eating/drinking areas, throughout Wellington. These are now some of the most popular spaces to relax and enjoy our summer !

​Funky entrance

In preparation for the All Blacks returning home after winning the World Cup, we were asked to line their Hurricane base entrance walls with turf. 

If you are wanting something a little different in or outdoors, try artificial grass. With a huge range of styles, colours and thickness it also provides a high level of sound proofing. We are confident we can find a solution for any situation.​

Lyall Bay School

As part of the construction of new classrooms we were contracted to create an all weather greenspace for the kids. A 600m2 area was constructed with a 40mm landscape pile to produce a soft multi purpose lawn suitable both sport  and passive leisure activities. The kids & teachers love it, and the results speak for themselves.

Home lawn with putting green

We installed a 300m2 Everlawn, with a 30m2 putting green to create a great recreational  back lawn area. Every one in the family love the use and enjoyment of a beautiful low maintenance lawn, and if you enjoy golf, why not include your own putting green too.

​​​Putting Greens

We designed the putting green with multiple holes for a wide variety of putting angles and shots. Shaping the area that the turf was going to be laid on was crucial to ensure that balls rolled evenly and consistently all the time. The results speak for themselves.
